The shutdown means people can’t pay their bills or buy groceries to feed their families. I doubt anyone would support sleeping in the dark, not being able to take a hot shower or even a cup of coffee in the morning. His pay and all of congress should get their pay withheld instead of the workers. Let’s see how fast they move then. He is so out of touch. The parents still have to pay the child care or find new arrangements when they go back to work.
