The manager would roll the racks back and finish her “dock check” heading back to the floor. This was before doors had computers to log when they were opened. This wouldn’t work today. There was a security camera with a feed that transferred to DVD but security would have had to watch each tape one at a time for multiple doors instead of watching the floor on a night they were working. This went on for 6 months. The three of them were caught when one of the thieves got into an argument with the manager who was part of the “steal crew.” In retaliation to being treated unfairly by that manager, she stormed into the operations office and confessed to the 6 months worth of crime the three of them committed as a group. In that kind of scam, they would take the clothes to a flea market —sell it for maybe 25 cents or less on the dollar to a vendor.

I have a few of these shirts. The Vintage Cali Post card in navy, Vintage Cali Championship in navy, Americana Collection Black/White Flag/Black, the Humor Graphic All Man/Black & the Rugged Outdoor Collection Route/Black. These are all labeled on the listings as modern fit & they are. Fit is subjective so I’ll try… I’m slightly between Large & XL but closer to large with an athletic shape, but not bulky. In my experience with Hanes 100% cotton I purchased the XL because they shrink. These all fit like a large after washing in cold & drying on low. Modern fit so not baggy but not too slim of a fit. Somewhere in-between, living in the comfort zone but the shirt fits like I care type fit. Being modern fit, the sleeves don’t protrude off your arm & the chest/waist areas don’t fit like shapeless blocks making you look like you are wearing a direction arrow. It’s also not so close fitting that your buddy is going to ask why you are wearing your sons shirt. These are good shirts that last a good while & are generally very inexpensive. Hanes cotton shirts always, eventually, lose their shape after a while & sort of stretch out but they do last a long time making these a great value. If you really like a print you should buy a couple & save one for later because they do discontinue often. I hope this helped you in your venture to find a decent cost effective shirt.
