Back in 2019, Nike joined forced with Verdy to release a collaborative SB Dunk Low. Now, the duo has returned with another rework of the silhouette dubbed “Wasted Youth.”
Inspired by the Japanese artist’s Wasted Youth imprint, the sneaker‘s upper is crafted from black crust patchwork denim material, giving it an overall punk look. Adding a pop of color to the design is the red rose on the Swoosh and red stitching on the heel. Elsewhere, the words “WASTED” and “YOUTH” have been embroidered on the heel tabs, while the phrases “NO THANK YOU I DON’T NEED YOUR SUPPORT” and “Don’t bother me anymore” are seen on the insoles. The padded tongues, white Zoom Air-equipped midsoles and black rubber outsoles round out the footwear style.
Take a detailed look at the shoes above. The Verdy x Nike SB Dunk Low “Wasted Youth” retails for $110 USD, and will be available on Nike SNKRS and at select retailers on April 6 at 10 p.m. EST.
